Secretary of State Mike Pumpeo reports good progress in his talks with a top North Korean official. That official is due in Washington Friday with the letter from Kim Jong Un for President Trump¹.

And a 14-year-old boy from suburban⁴ Dallas is the nation's new spelling champion. Karthik Nemanni correctly spelled koinonia and gets more than 14,000 dollars in cash and prizes.
