A new student was just finding his way around Harvard University. 一位哈佛大学新生正在熟悉校园环境。

"Excuse me," he aske an upperclassman, "can you tell me where the library's at?" “对不起，”他问一位高年级学长，“您能告诉我图书馆在哪里吗?”

"What appalling¹ diction," sneered² the older student. "I can't imagine how you could have been admitted to Harvard. “好可怕的用字喔!”那名学长嘲弄他道。"不知道你老弟是怎么获准进入哈佛的。

Don' t you know better than to end a sentence with a preposition?" 难道你不知道介词不要放在一个句子后面吗?"

"OK. Can you tell me where the library's at, asshole?" “好吧!你能告诉我图书馆在哪里吗，驴蛋?”

1.finding one's way 寻找

例句：Through the film, Po is finding his way home, which is very universal.

整部影片中，阿宝寻找回家的路，这是非常普遍的。

2.upperclassman 高年级学生

例句：There are a limited number of apartments for both upperclassman.

学校对高年级学生准备了有限的套房。

3.can't imagine 难以想象

例句：I can't imagine him deciding to throw his future away, whatever was happening to him at any one moment.

4.admitted to 承认；录取

例句：When I confronted them, they admitted to three visits in the past month, and another planned soon.
