（单词翻译）

 一个英语单词可分为三部分：前缀（prefix）词根（root）后缀（suffix）。位于词根前面的部分就是前缀。前缀，可以改变单词的意思。

contra- 表示“反对，相反”
contrary = contra + ry → adj. 相反的
contradict = contra + dict（说）→ 反着说 → v. 同…矛盾
contrast = contra + st（站）→ 反着站，面对着站 → vt. 对比；反差
counter-表示“反的，反对”
counteract1 =counter + act（行动）→ 反对的行动 → v. 抵抗
counterpart = counter + part（部分）→ n. 对应的人或物
de-
1. 表示“去除，取消”
desperate = de + sper（希望；prosperity → pro2 + sper +ity → 前面有希望， → n. 繁荣昌盛）+ ate → 去掉希望 → adj. 绝望的
despair = de + spair（由sper派生而来）→没了希望 →n./v. 绝望 
detect = de + tect（遮盖；protect = pro + tect → 在没遇到危险前就遮盖 → v. 保护）→ 去掉遮盖 → v. 发现，侦查
2. 表示“否定，反”
decompose3 = de + compose（组成）→ 与组成相反 → v. 分解
destruction = de + struct（建造）+ ion → 与建造相反 → n. 破坏
