 一个英语单词可分为三部分：前缀（prefix）词根（root）后缀（suffix）。位于词根前面的部分就是前缀。前缀，可以改变单词的意思。

—ob-, op-① 表示“否，非，反”—
object = ob + ject（扔）→ 逆着扔，反着扔 → v. 反对
object = n. 物品，物件，目标
opponent = op + pon（放置，位置）+ ent → 反的位置 → n. 对手；a. 对立的 
oppose = op + pos（放）+ e → 反着放 → v. 反抗，对立
opposite = op + posit（放）+ e → 对这放 → n. 对立面
opposite = op + posit（放）+ e → 对这放 → a. 对立的
—② 表示“加强”—
oblige = ob + lig（捆绑）+ e → 牢牢的绑住 → v. 迫使，束缚
observe = ob + serv（保持；服务）+ e → 一再坚持；坚持（看）→ v. 遵守；引申为观察
obtain = ob + tain（拿）→ 稳稳拿住 → v. 获得
oppress = op + press（压）→ 拼命往下压 → vt. 压迫
