President Trump1 used a rally in Mississippi to mock Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Supreme2 Court nominee3 Brett Kavanaugh. Ford's attorney, on Twitter, called President Trump's words a vicious, vile4 and soulless attack.

A volcano erupted in Indonesia, on the same island that an earthquake hit on Friday. Planes were warned about volcanic6 ash but no evacuations were immediately ordered.

18 people including a congressional candidate were arrested while protesting outside a McDonald's restaurant in Detroit. The demonstrators were calling for a higher minimum wage and the right to form labor7 unions.
