Hi there, I'm Sonali from the BBC World News for Schools. It's Monday the 25th of July. 

Coming up: 

Norway holds a minute's silence for Friday's victims. 

England's cricketers are in a strong position to take the lead in the India series. 

And Uruguay are Copa America champions! 

To Norway first, where the country is struggling to come to terms with the tragic¹ events of Friday - when a mass shooting and bomb blast left more than ninety people dead. Police have arrested and charged a man with both crimes. The attacks took place in the capital Oslo and then on a nearby Island. These locals were in the capital when the bomb went off... 

CLIP: "I was just sitting, just a few blocks away and I heard the explosion, and I came out and it was just like a war zone and of course that makes an impact." "I work very close, and I was very afraid, and when I hear about the shooting on the Island I was so, so sad. It is very sad for Norway." 

Later today a minute's silence is being held to remember the victims. 

Next to Somalia where as many as 12 million people are at risk of starvation. Two areas of the country have been declared famine zones and to make matters worse officials are worried that militant² groups in Somalia are stopping aid getting through to the worst affected³ areas. The United Nations is hosting emergency talks on what to do about the situation. One of the main points of the meeting is to get richer countries to give money to help victims of the drought. Olivier de Schutter is with the UN... 

CLIP: " We need about 70 million dollars immediately to support Somalia where famine is developing and where certain regions cannot be reached by humanitarian⁴ agencies as a result of these regions being held by the al-Shabaab, the radical⁵ islamist group." 

OK some other news now and it promises to be an exciting last day of the first England-India test at the home of cricket, Lord's. Largely thanks to this century from England's Matt Prior yesterday... 

CLIP: "Moves in, bowls to Prior, down the pitch it comes and there's the boundary - a slashing⁶ cover drive. The area in which Prior scores many of his runs. A tremendous celebration and quite rightly so. That is a brilliant hundred." 

India still need 378 runs to beat England. 

And Uruguay have won the Copa America, beating Paraguay three-nil. Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan gave Uruguay a half-time lead before Forlan scored again in the last minute of the match. Uruguay have now won the tournament a record fifteen times.
