Airline maker1 Boeing says it supports the government's decision to ground 737 Max 8 planes. The company also says it has full confidence in the planes' safety, despite crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia.

The University of Southern California, Stanford and the University of Texas all fired coaches and others implicated2 in the college bribery3 scandal. USC also says it will review any student or graduate who may be connected to the alleged4 scheme.

And forecasters are warning of ice jams and major floods in Nebraska and Iowa. A massive winter storm brought blizzards7 and floods to more than 25 states.
