Millions of Afghans are expected to vote in presidential elections on Saturday.

Taliban attacks have killed many people in recent weeks. The group now controls or strongly influences about half the country. It has condemned9 the elections and warned Afghans against voting. Militants10 allied11 with the Islamic State group also threatened voters. It operates mainly in eastern Afghanistan.
