The Nation paused to remember America's Veterans as President Donald Trump1 delivered a speech before the opening of an annual Veterans Day Parade in New York city. Vice2 President Mike Pence honored the nation's veterans in a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery3.

Hundreds of flights were cancelled in Chicago where a plane skidded4 off the runway. However, no one was injured. A blast of winter weather is expected to bring heavy snow to some states in the Midwest and Northeast, along with record low temperatures as far south as the Texas gulf5 coast.

SpaceX launched another Falcon6 rocket- this one carrying dozens of mini satellites to orbit the Earth and expand high speed internet to more parts of the Globe. It was also the companys fourth launch of a reusable booster rocket that came back to Earth and landed on an offshore7 platform.
