Former U.S. Ambassador¹ to China Stapleton Roy has suggested the United States focus more on the opportunities of China's development, rather than viewing the country as a threat.

He made his remarks on the sidelines of an annual conference organized by the Committee of 100 (C100), a premier² U.S. organization of Chinese-American leaders from different fields.
