Questions 1 to 3 are based on the following conversation.

M： I’m just going down to the store to buy some cigarettes. Do you want anything while I’m there?

W： What a good idea! There are a lot of things I need, as a matter of fact. Let me see... We haven’t got many eggs left，so bring a dozen large ones. And please pick up a bottle of cooking oil.

M： Hold on! If you want me to get a lot of things，make a list, or I’ll forget something.

W： All right, but wait a minute, while I look in the cupboard to see what we need.

M： Hurry up, then. I want to stop in for a visit to Gerry on the way back.

W： (2) We have plenty of cocoa¹, but we’ve run out of coffee and there isn’t much tea left. (1) Bring a large tin of instant² coffee and a quarter pound of tea. Oh! I want some ham, too.

M： How much?

In this section you will hear several conversations. Listen to the conversations carefully and then answer the questions that follow.

Questions 1 to 3 are based on the following conversation. At the end of the conversation，you will be given 15 seconds to answer the questions.

Now, listen to the conversation.

1. A细节题。女士说需要a large tin( —大耀）速溶咖啡和a quarter pound(四分之一 磅）茶叶，即0.25磅茶叶，应选A。其他三个选项都不是茶叶的数量单位，听音时需注意区分。

2. C细节题。女士说cocoa还有很多，可见她不需要买，因此选项C正确。

3. D推断题。对话末尾，男士说“你好像今天什么东西都用完了……我觉得需要一个 卡车才能把你需要的东西带回家”。可断定答案是D“抱怨”。切忌一听到男士主动 询问是否需要带东西，就急于选择A;男士虽然抱怨女士要他带的东西太多，但他还 是会去买，故C不正确；男士并没有认为女士贪婪（要买很多东西和贪婪是两码事）， B项与对话不符，故错误。
