Can green tea fight cancer? Green tea is one of the most popular drinks in Asia. It's different from most American teas because its leaves are raw，not fermented1. Japanese  scientists have discovered that green tea can lower cholesterol2 and stop the growth of some cancer, with a substance that attacks cancer-producing free radicals3. Free radicals are in every body，but too many can stimulate4 cancer growth, green tea pumps up the immune system to make the charge and break apart cancer cells.
