The AFP searched the office of Labor2 frontbencher Stephen Conroy and a house in Brunswick as part of an investigation3 into leaked documents about the national broadband network.

The AFP says the investigation is independent from government, and both Labor and the coalition4 were notified of the raids after they commenced.
