Australia's most senior Catholic, Cardinal¹ George Pell, has addressed the media in Rome after being charged with historical sexual assault offences. He strenuously² denies the allegations, and says he will return to Australia to clear his name. Cardinal Pell has been summonsed to appear at the Melbourne magistrates³ court on the 18th of july.
