And the United States has struck a major deal with a Brisbane firm to produce COVID testing kits³ to be used in the homes of millions of Americans. $303 million will be given to biotech company Ellume, to produce more than a half million tests a day by the end of the year. Much of the money will go to build the manufacturing base in the United States. The test is not approved for use here in Australia.
