第一句：I'm going to visit friends.

A: What's the purpose of your trip?

你旅行的目的是什么？

B: I'm going to visit friends.

A: How long are you going to stay?

你打算待多久？

B: About 2 weeks.

大约两周。

第二句：For leisure¹/business.

我来消遣/出差。

A: Are you here for business or leisure?

你来这是出差还是消遣？

B: For business.

出差。

 

当移民官询问来访目的时，还可以说：

I am here on vacation. 我来休假。

I am here to attend a conference. 我来参加会议。或者说：I have come for sightseeing. 我是来观光的。
