President Bush says the United States must change its habits and reduce its dependence¹ on foreign oil.  President Bush says the country's reliance on fossil fuels harms the environment and puts Americans at the mercy of nations that do not enjoy the same freedoms.  American consumers, for their part, appear to be changing their habits, but they are doing so for more practical reasons.  VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
