China’s highest court has ruled that those who miss payments ordered by judges will be barred from riding bullet trains.

On July 21, the Supreme1 People’s Court said the ban is intended to clamp down on people who have been ignoring rulings to repay debts or mandated2 child support.

The judicial5 system gives a list of people with outstanding court-ordered debt to train ticket sellers, airlines and hotels.
