Police were asked to run a DNA test on a cookie left behind on Christmas. The Rhode Island Health Department says it found no complete matches, and would need more samples from other Santa encounters.

Monday, we told you about a young girl who asked police to run a DNA test on some cookies and carrots left behind on Christmas Day. Well, the Rhode Island Health Department says the test results are a miracle. A partial DNA match was found linked to a 1947 New York City case centered on 34th Street. It turns out the carrots had reindeer3 DNA, yet no word on other DNA matches for a chubby4, plump, right, jolly old elf. Sounds like a Christmas conspiracy5.
