The most talked-about issue is the medical one, accounting1 for about 19% of the votes. The second hottest is housing at 16%. Olympics-related issues have also drawn2 a large number of votes."
Other issues getting votes include employment, inflation, agricultural policy, reforms of governmental organizations and emergency relief measures after accidents and natural disasters.
CCTV Repoter Liu Ming said, "All of these issues will be among the hottest topics of discussion at the annual sessions of the NPC and CPPCC. Some drafts will be finalized3 into laws by the NPC.
