Hello, everyone. I'm Creshon Saunders at the CNN Center in Atlanta. Here's what's happening Now In The News.

Huge crowds are on the streets of Pristina Kosovo, celebrating their independence from Serbia. Kosovo's Parliament made the official declaration this morning. The move is already affecting global politics. Russia opposes Kosovan independence, saying it might encourage republics within its borders to do the same. The US and much of Western Europe back Kosovo's decision.

At least 80 people are dead, following a suicide bomb attack at a dog fighting competition in Kandahar Afghanistan. Investigators1 suspect the attack was aimed at an anti-Taliban militia2 commander who was among the dead. Dozens more were injured.

Across Pakistan now armed guards are on watch at polling stations, ahead of long-awaited elections for Parliament. Opposition3 leaders are claiming results are rigged in advance to give a boost to President Musharraf. The U.S ally in the war on terror isn't on the ballot4 himself, but his grip on the government hangs in the ballots5.

The crew of the Shuttle Atlantis is preparing to return to Earth Wednesday after its nine-day visit to the International Space Station. Astronauts spend much of their mission setting up Europe's first permanent space laboratory. Astronaut Daniel Tony, whose mother died during his four-month's stay at the station, is also returning with the crew.

Many eBay sellers may not be logging on to the popular site next week. They are calling for a week-long boycott6 to protest several changes to eBay policy. Along with fee changes, eBbay will no longer allow sellers to leave negative feedback about buyers. eBay says the changes will ultimately save sellers' money. But many sellers just aren't buying it. Whether a boycott will pressure eBay to roll back the changes remains7 to be seen. Some sellers acknowledge that since eBay hosts millions of sellers, launching an effective boycott could be difficult.

Those are the headlines this hour. For more on these stories and other news of the day, CNN is your source online, on TV even when you're on the go.
