It is dangerous to be too curious. 正确的说法是“Curiosity killed the cat”。

Curiosity can do more things than kill a cat, and if emotions, well recognized as feminine, are inimical to feline1 life, then jealousy2 would soon leave the whole world catless.

他的意思就是“People should mind their own business”,也就是“好奇致祸”。

----Charlie:Kevin is acting3 weird4 lately. Something must be going on.

----George:Just leave him alone.

----Charlie: Don't you want to know? He checks his locker5 after every class. It's going to be something important. What if it is a gun?

----George: Curiosity killed the cat.
