57. Er… the receptionist told me to wait, as a matter of fact.
58. She’s a fool!  Anyway, what was the message form my little Juanita?
59. Before we get on to that, I really must say a word or two about your security arrangements, Mr. Ramirez.
60. You see, we live in an increasingly violent age, and the successful man has to be prepared to defend himself against those less fortunate than him.
61. There are a number of ways
62. Listen, young man, you needn’t worry about my security. Gomez here looks after me.
63. But is that enough, in this day and age? What if someone came in here with a gun, for instance?
64. Don’t be ridiculous; they wouldn’t dare! And if they did, Gomez would shoot them first.
65. Now, it so happens that I work for a firm which specializes in personal security equipment,
66. And we offer a very wide range of products to suit individual requirements, For instance-
67. Hold it right there! Who sent you here? Gomez, check him out.
68. Aaagh! Look. I’m only doing my job!
69. What is all this stuff in your briefcase1? Who are you?
70. I’m a sales representative for the ECS Corporation, and those are just samples and promotional literature.
71. So you’re nothing but a damn2 salesman, then, not a friend of Juanita’s.
72. I am a friend of hers, too, honestly. We were in the same English class together; her husband David was the teacher.
73. OK, OK. Let him get up, Gomez.
74. So, how is my little flower, then?
75. Oh, she’s very well, she’s doing fine.
76. And how is little Sigismonda?
77. Er…who?
78. Didn’t you know that your best friend has a child now?
79. Oh, I’d just temporarily forgotten the name,  that’s all. Yes, he’s a lovely little boy.
80. Girl, to be exact. You hardly know my daughter, do you? You’ve come here pretending to be a friend of hers
81. so as to try to sell me a lot of security equipment which I don’t want and don’t need,
82. and which I wouldn’t dream of buying from you in any case. Am I right, or am I wrong
83. I was just doing my job, that’s all
84. Sure! And dong it very badly, too. Let me give you some advice, young man-
85. Who’s that?
86. Isabella, someone’s coming up in the elevator! You didn’t send anyone, did you? Isabell, Where are you?
87. Stand back everybody, or you’ll get shot!
88. Look out, Gomez!
89. Put your hands up, all of you! Into the elevator, Ramirez!
90. Look, I’m just a salesman,  that’s all; here’s my card.
91. Keep your hands up! We’re not after you; It’s that wacko criminal Ramirez we’ve come for.
92. Into the elevator, pig!
93. What do you want from me? Where are you taking me?
94. You’ll find out soon enough. Now, make this elevator go down to the car park! Come on!
