China gears up to discuss future growth

    The World Bank estimated China's Gini coefficient, a main gauge³ of income disparity, surged to 0.47 in 2009, exceeding the warning line of 0.4. Three decades ago it was below 0.22.
    That's why observers believe the 12th five year plan will focus on redistribution of wealth and increase the earnings⁴ of low income families.
