　　科学家宣称，他们已经发现了饮用咖啡所导致女性怀孕几率下降的原因所在。

　　The stimulant de-activates specialised pacemaker cells in the walls of the tubes. These cells co-ordinate waves of tube contractions which move the eggs towards the womb.

　　Study leader Sean Ward⁷, from the University of Nevada in Reno, U.S., said: ‘This finding provides an intriguing⁸ explanation as to why women with high caffeine consumption often take longer to conceive than women who do not consume caffeine.’
