The regrowing signs. The U.S economy is picking up. Employment grew slightly in the last month with the jobless rate falling to near 3 year low of 8.5%. But the analysts¹ say the economy needs to sustain the current pace of job creation to prove the best recovery is finally under way.

 

S has become the lightest insurance for the effects of serious natural disasters in New Zealand and Australia last year. The general insurance says it expects nature has its cost for the past 6 months to be between 360 million dollars and 420 million. That’s largely due to the freak storm and earthquake in New Zealand.

 

And food manufacturer H stopped making tomato sauce in Australia. Last May, H announced it was moving the tomato sauce new production and big-group price into New Zealand. The move has cost 344 Australian jobs.

 

And check the figures. The U.S stocks are in edge lower as the investors² were pulled in tough war between strong domestic data and continued concern about Europe debt crisis. The Dow Jones was lower. And in Asia, the Nikker was down 98 points, the Hand Seng was down 220 points. Back home, the All Ords * recession yesterday 32 points lower. And on the currencies market, Australian dollar is buying around 102 US cents.
