Hi, I'm Carl Azuz, we welcome you to ourSeptember 11th 2013 edition of CNN student news. This is the anniversary of thetragic day of American history when members of al-Qaeda terrorists grouphijacked 4 passage planes of United States, they flow two of them into the worldtrade center--the twin towers in New York City. Both towers have eventuallycollapsed, another plane was flow into the Pentagon in Washington DC damaging asignificant part of that massive building and on the fourth plane it's believedthat passages tried to take control back from the hijackers, that plane crashedinto a field in St. * Pennsylvanian. Music~

2,977 people were killed in the attack, it was the worst active terrorism in the American history, and when president George W Bush addressed the nationthat night he full shadowed the American response.

American and our friends and allies join with all these who want peace and security in the world, and we stand together to win the war against terrorism.

It was the beginning of the international campaign to fight al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups, that started in Afghanistan because that country's leadersrefused to turn over Osama bin1 Laden2 and other al-Qaeda terrorists who were living there. Every year memorials like this pay tribute to the victims of 911honoring them naming them ensuring that they like the day itself are not forgotten.

This latest idea floated by the Secretary of State John Kerry picked up by the Russians, is it possible this could avert3 a US strike on Syria?

It's possible if it is real, and I think it's certainly a positive involvement when the Russians and the Syrians both make gestures towards dealing4 with thesechemical weapons, this is we've been asking for not just over last week or last month but for the last couple of years. Because these chemical weapons pose asignificant threat to all nations and to the United States in particular, that's way 98% of humanities have said we don't use these, that protects ourtroops and protects children like the ones we saw in these videos inside Syria. So it's the potentially positive involvement, I have to say that it's unlikelythat we would arrived at that point where even the public statement says that without a credible5 military threat to deal with the chemical weapons use insideSyria.
