　　我们应该做个存款计划。We should make a plan for saving money。

　　我们得开始存些钱以备不时之需了。

　　We need to start saving money for a rainy day。

　　我们得省吃俭用勒紧裤腰带。We’ve got to tighten² our belt。

　　我攒够钱了。I’ve got enough saved up。

　　我们得留意收支情况。We need to watch our money。

　　这次我要动用储蓄了。I’ll dip into my savings³ this time。

　　Saving Money and Depositing It

　　Abby：We need to start saving money for a rainy day。

　　Rick：Yeah, I know, but we still need to live too. I don’t want to work just to save。

　　Abby：Well, we can save 20% of all our earnings and put it in the bank。

　　Rick：20% sounds too high. How about 10%?

　　Abby：If we start saving and keeping it in the bank now, we’ll have enough money to retire comfortably。
