(单词翻译)

 This summer, I set out to get to the bottom of a story that’s captured the headlines. And this one, I’ve got some experience myself, because I’m also a beekeeper.

There, is that good?
Yeah, it’s perfect.
Ok, I hate squeezing like that.

I met some scientists doing extraordinary experiments, putting tiny and tinny onto bees.

Dave, she’s out, she’s out. Here she goes.

This is just a part of an attempt to understand what’s happening to our bees.

It’s the biggest mystery to hit the country in living memory. Bees are dying in their droves and we don’t know why.

I’m going to be examining the evidence that points at 3 of the main suspects. First that deadly invader1 that’s devastating2 colonies;

I know from bitter experiences, if you see one of those in your bee hive, you know you’re gonna be in big trouble, cause they can pretty much wipe out a colony in a couple of months really.

A very short time, yeah, the kiss of death, isn’t it?

Second, pesticides3, their use is causing huge controversy4. And finally, the changes we’ve made in how we farm our land. What’s clear is that these extraordinary creatures are dying in their billions.

This is a film about what’s killing5 them.

I’ve been keeping bees for best or worst for 12 years now, I’ve always them to be beautiful, intricate creatures. Think of this, a bee in a single day will visit several thousand flowers. Its wings beat at 200 times a second, they’ll fly 50 miles an hour up to four miles from their hive in their search for food, and yet they’ll always find their way home. And this for my bees is home.
