　　I can hook you up.

　　我可以帮你牵线。

　　hood¹ sb. up直译过来就是：“把某人挂起来”，这个短语的正确意思是：“把某人介绍给某人”。因此，当美国人说:"I can hook you up."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"I can act as the go-between."、"I can introduce you to someone else."。
