King of the Jungle森林之王A lion woke up one morning in the jungle.

He went out and cornered a small monkey and roared, "Who is
mightiest1 of all jungle animals?"他走出去，逼住一只小猴子吼道：“谁是丛林中最强大的动物？”
The trembling monkey says, "You are,
mighty2 lion!"小猴子哆哩哆嗦地答道：“是您，伟大的狮子！”
Later, the lion confornts a ox and fiercely
bellows3, "Who is the mightiest of all jungle animals?"一会儿，猴子又遇到一头牛，它狂暴地吼道：“谁是丛林中最强大的动物？”
The terrified ox
stammers4, "Oh great lion, you are the mightest animal in the jungle!"牛吓坏了，结结巴巴地答道：“啊，伟大的狮子，您是丛林中最强大的动物！”
On a roll now, the lion swaggers up to an elephant and roars, "Who is the mightiest of all jungle animals?"狮子得意忘形了，它大摇大摆地走到一头大象跟前吼道：“谁是丛林中最强大的动物？”
Fast as lightning, the elephant snatches up the lion with his trunk, slams him against a tree half a dozen times leaving the lion feeling like it'd been run over by a tractor.
大象飞快地用鼻子抓过狮子，把它甩到一棵树上撞了几次。狮子感觉就好像被拖拉机碾过一样。
The elephant then
stomps5 on the lion till it looks like corn tortilla and
ambles6 away.
大象又在狮子身上踩了几下，把它踩扁在地，然后踱着步子走开了。
The lion lets out a moan of pain, lifts his head weakly and hollers after the elephant, "Just because you don't know the answer, you don't have to get so upset about it!"狮子痛苦地呻吟着，虚弱地抬起头，对着大象叫道：“就算你不知道答案，也用不着这么烦躁嘛！”
