Rato was arrested and then freed this week, he denied the allegations and he's cooperating the authorities. They've frozen his assets and taken his passpord. As I heard from instinct IMF,Rato was Spain's former vice7 president and economy minister. His arrest has blown Spain's ruling conservative, who are seeking reelection later this year. Across Germany, today thousands of people marched in protest of a plan f deal between US and Europe. Protesters are worried that the deal will arode food, labor8 and environmental standards. A recent Uga poll shows that 43% of Germans think trans-Atlantic trade and investment partnership9 will be bad for Germany. But Chancellor10 Angela Merkel says the deal could add 100 billion dollars annualy to the economies of both the US and Europe. 
In Afghannistan, at least 35 people are dead after a suicide bomber11 targeted a crowd of people gathered at a bank to receive their monthly salary in Jeloubar. 125 other were wounded. A young man is dead in St.Louise after he alleged12 charged a police with a knife. St.Louise public radio Camel Phillips says his death has a new debate about the best way for police to respond to mentally ill. 
Authorities say 23 year old David Mecal armed himself with a knife and a summirized sword before locking his mother out in their St.Louise county home later Friday night. His mother told police that he's been behaving radically13. Two hours after officers arrived on scene. Mecal stepped outside with a knife. St.Louise county police chief Don Belmore officers first tried to seduce14 Mecal was a rapid bull to the thigh15. 
We were hoping he would drop the knife, but it just didn't work out.Had he've done that, then the officers were already prepared to phicially engage him, ground him, and then this would be over, and he would be in a hospital.
