　　A:Good moming, Mr.Robinson. I am afraid there is a change in today's program. I just got word that your appointment with Mr. Smith, the general manager of Western Textile¹ Co., Ltd., will have to be put off.

　　A:早上好，鲁宾逊先生。恐怕今天的计划有变。我刚得知您和西方纺织有限公司的总经理史密斯先生的约会被推迟了。

　　B:But why?

　　B:为什么呢？

　　A:Mr.Smith called just now that he had to fly to Shanghai on urgent² business today.

　　A:刚才史密斯先生打电话过来说他今天必须得飞往上海处理紧急事务。

　　B:OK,I see.

　　B:哦，知道了。

　　A:Mr.Smith is sending his apologies and has asked me to find out if the day after tomorrow would be all right with you.

　　A:史密斯先生表示歉意，同时要我问一下您后天是否合适。

　　B:Yes, that will be just as good.

　　B:可以，后天也行。

　　A:Then shall we make it nine o'clock the day after tomorrow morning?

　　A:那么，我们就定在后天上午9点，好吗？

　　B:All right. Then I can do some shopping today before going back to my country.

　　B:好的，我正好可以借此机会在回国前买些东西。
