1950Peter Gabriel, former lead singer of the rock band Genesis, whose solo career made rule for the  world music, is born in Surrey England.
And 2002 Waylon Jennings, the singer,songwriter who served that the outlaw5 brand of country music, dies in Chandler, Arizona. He was 64.
