　　我们都听过的功夫大师李小龙，李连杰和成龙。因此，如果我们知道三个，那么中国人肯定知道更多了，对不对？

　　According to legend, Chinese martial³ arts originated over 4000 years ago. One of the earliest mentions of Shaolin Kung Fu is from the 7th century when it was used to defend the Shaolin Monastery⁴.

　　相传，中国武术在4000多年前起源。其中最早提到少林功夫是从公元7世纪时，用来保卫少林寺之用。

　　Today, many forms of Chinese Kung Fu are based on northern and southern styles, the first emphasizing powerful kicks and jumps and the second arm strength and fancy footwork.

　　如今，中国功夫的诸多流派都是基于北方和南方的武林根基，通常以踢腿和跳跃为首要技能，其次是手臂力量和花哨的脚法，“南拳北腿”么。
