怎么这么安静？我女朋友刚和我分手了。好糟糕。我记得我第一次分手时，前三个月，我每天都哭，不用太伤心，会好起来的。她也不值得你这么伤心。

 

A: "Why are you so quiet?"

B: "My girlfriend¹ just broke² up with me."

A: "You must feel terrible³ now."

B: "Yeah."

A: "I remember my first break up. It was⁴ the worst⁵ feeling⁶ in the world. I was crying everyday⁷ for three months. And slowly⁸, it got⁹ better. I know you'll feel better too."

B: "You've been through this too?"

A: "Yeah. I remember it very clearly¹⁰. The pain¹¹ makes it easy to remember. I know you're really hurting right now, but you know many people experience¹² break ups."

B: "But it hurts too much."

A: "I know it's painful¹³, but it's only temporary¹⁴. After the pain goes away, you'll find other girls."

B: "What if I don't want to find another girl?"

A: "You'll change your mind¹⁶. Look at everyone in the world. They all break up and move on. The faster you understand this, the quicker you will recover¹⁷."

B: "You're right."

A: "I also know you must still have strong feelings¹⁸ for her, but try to think of all the bad things. You know she didn't treat¹⁹ you that well. Is that the person²⁰ you want to spend the rest of your life²¹ with?"

B: "Yeah. Thanks for the talk."

A: "I'll give you a call later²². We should hang¹⁵ out. It's good to be around people."

B: "Ok. I'll talk to you later."
