作为陪伴,company和accompany 两者的区别在于：
1.accompany是作为verb形式，而company是作为noun的形式。一般搭配 for company，in the company of sb.
2.两者虽说都是陪伴，但company指的是有另一个人或者另一批人和你在一起，而且特指这会使你感到高兴或者是你不会感到寂寞。
而accompany就比较广泛，它没有特别强调这个动作之后的感觉和情绪，所以只要是陪同某人就可以用这个。
例如：
She would be grateful for their company on the drive back.
她很感激他们陪同她驾车返回。
（主要强调在由于他们陪同了，所以她会很感激。）
I accompanied her on the trip.
我陪同她一道旅行。
（在这儿主要强调就是我陪同了。）
