Putin has called for the creation of a broad counterterrorism front based on international law and led by the UN.

Concerning the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Putin says the region's problems should only be settled through a direct dialogue of all the parties concerned without any preconditions.

The Russian leader adds Russia is ready to work together with its BRICS partners to promote international financial regulation reforms.
