1. notebook，笔记本。 我们说的笔记型电脑英语就是 anotebook computer，也有人直接把笔记型电脑称为anotebook。
eg:I've jotted¹ down all the new words I've learned in anotebook.
我把我学的新词全都记在一个笔记本上了。

2. memory,记忆,记忆力；电脑中的内存（存储器）英语也是memory。
eg:His phone number has slipped my memory.
他的电话号码我记不起来了。

eg:She has a good memory for names.
她对名字的记性很好。

3. diligent²,勤勉的,勤奋的;在某方面勤奋可用介词in。
eg:She is diligent in her work.
她工作十分勤奋。

4. kill two birds with one stone,一石二鸟。中文的一箭双雕在英语中也可说成kill two birds with onestone。
eg:By reading English articles, you can kill two birds with one stone. You can improve your English and learn more foreign cultures.
