It is a crown-like jewelled（珠宝装饰的） headdress worn by women on formal occasions.

First of all, a ruby¹ tiara from Queen mother.

这个红宝石皇冠是女王的妈妈留下的。

The Queen has worn this tiara only once, on a state visit to Malta in 2005.

It was designed by Prince Albert for his new wife Queen Victoria. The tiara is huge, containing more than 2,600 diamonds and 11 rubies².

价值大概75万人民币。

这还不算贵的呢。

女王结婚的时候，印度的一位君主送给她一个镶有1033颗钻石的皇冠，别看钻石数量不如第一个多，但是质量好啊。

The tiara, which cost ￡5,000 in 1947 (equivalent to ￡189,000 today)。

折合人民币大概190万左右。

而且，这位印度土豪was not invited to the wedding.

婚礼都没邀请他，还这么大方。

有钱，任性啊。

据说，这个皇冠后来坏掉了，上面的钻石被用来做新的皇冠了。

The Queen's sapphire collection is one of her most glittering闪闪发光的, containing seven priceless pieces, including a necklace, bracelet⁴, earrings⁵ and three rings.

数来数去，女王大部分珠宝都是祖上传下来的，她自己买的不多。

但这一件是她自己买哒。

It's one of only a few pieces of jewellery she hasn't inherited, so the tiara is thought to reflect her personal style.
