Jean: I’m Jean and today William and I are discussing the important issue of getting hitched³.

William: So we’re talking about getting hitched. G.E.T.T.I.N.G getting hitched: H.I.T.C.H.E.D hitched.

William: Oh, no, not more wedding talk!

Jean: Oh come on, don’t you like weddings William?

William: Well no, it’s not that it’s just that every girl I’ve ever met seems to be obsessed⁴ with getting hitched.

Jean: To hitch two things together, that means to join them together, I think.

William: Yeah, so when two people get hitched they’re joining together in matrimony.

William: Ok, now that really is enough wedding talk. I refuse to spend any longer talking about people getting hitched.
