Helen: And I’m Helen.

Neil: Today we’re going to look at words and phrases that have recently become part of the English language.

Neil: Yes, but the name hoody has a negative sense for many people.

Helen: Hoody 是个贬义词，能不能再给我们解释解释，Neil。

Neil: Yes. Hoodies are often violent or commit crime.

Helen: Hoodies 就是那些特别不愤儿的暴力小混混儿，有那么厉害吗？

Neil: Yes. Hoodies are often responsible for violent crimes or street robberies.

Helen: 哦，这些叫 hoody 的人，就是那些爱找事儿的年轻人，他们其实才只有十几岁呀。

Neil: That’s right.
