In Turkey people trying to access Facebook, Twitter and YouTube today found the sites blocked by the government, who accused the sites of spreading terrorist propaganda. In India, where urban pollution has risen to alarming levels, Prime Minister Modi launches a National Air Quality Index to monitor pollution levels in 10 major cities. Britain's National Health Service feels the strain of health tourism and European and American regional governments are selling galleries and museums' art and artefacts to help with their budgets. Also, Ed Butler is in Kurdistan looking at its troubled relationship with the Iraqi central government.
