(单词翻译)

Before leaving town for the August recess1, House Speaker John Boehner expects a vote this week on a scaled-down funding bill, spending just $659 million through the fiscal2 year.

(Boehner) "Which covers the expenses we believe that are necessary between now and the end of September."

The measure would pay for additional enforcement resources along the border, add judges to more quickly process children, and change a 2008 law blamed for a backlog3 of cases from Central America.

It's far smaller than a Senate plan that spends more than $3 billion to bolster4 enforcement and temporarily house immigrants.
