Honda is recalling 772,000 additional Honda and Acura vehicles in the U.S. over defective¹ Takata airbag inflators. It’s part of an expanded recall of 1.3 million vehicles over airbag inflators that can explode, sending shraple into a vehicle’s cabin.

More than 100 million vehicles involving 17 automakers have been recalled worldwide, including 69 million in the U.S. alone. The defect has led to 16 deaths and almost 200 injuries.
