旁白：我们知道他们长什么样，知道他们穿着怪异，了解他们举止粗鲁。是的，我们一眼就能认出那些心术不正的人，一旦看见他们走近，为了保护自己，我们什么都做得出来。

Voice-over: We know what they look like, we know how they dress, and we know how they behave. Yes, we can all recognize the wrong kind of people, and when we see them coming, we do what we have to to protect ourselves.

Paul: Lynette? How are you this fine day?

Lynette: Who are those people?

Paul: Old friends.

Lynette: Ex-con friends? Uh...aren't you jumping the gun? Until the homeowners association votes, you don't have approval for your project.

Paul: These men have volunteered to get my halfway¹ house ready. Most of them live in a dreadful facility on skid² row. I told them that if they participated in the remodel³, I could get them transferred here.

Lynette: You are wasting their time, because this place is never going to open.

Paul: Oh, I think it will. And won't it be nice for these men to live on a street where children play in their front yards and people don't lock their doors at night?
