第一句：What's the rent on that?

那个租金是多少？

A: Do you have a room for rent?

你们有要出租的屋子吗？

B: Yes, we do.

是的，我们有。

A: What's the rent on that?

一个月800元。

第二句：How much is the deposit?

押金是多少？

A: Are there any rooms for rent?

有要出租的房屋吗？

500元。

rent 这个词除了当动词“出租”以外，也可当成名词“租金”解释。

所以当你想询问对方租金是多少时，可以说：“How much is the rent?” 租金是多少？

或是“How much is it per month?” 每个月多少钱啊？

当然除了rent 之外，租房子之前通常要另外付一笔押金（security deposit 或 cleaning deposit），

当你搬走时要是被招租人（leaser）发现有什么家具被房客（tenant 或 lessee）用坏时，他们就可以从这笔 deposit 当中扣除。
