Fall has an effect on me no other season does. The shades of red, yellow and green of the foliage1 , the boundless2 stretch of the blue skies, the crunching3 sounds of the leaves under my feet and the gorgeous Indian summer . They touch my heart and could even render me to tears till this day. Many a time I stand atop of the hill near my house, or by the river that meanders4 through downtown this time of year, drinking it all in.

秋天给我的感受是其他季节无法相比的。那红、黄、绿交相辉映的树叶，辽阔无垠的蓝天，脚下沙沙作响的落叶，那明媚宜人的小阳春。它们触动着我的心弦，时至今日，依然催我泪下。多少次，我站在我家附近的小山顶上极目远眺，或沿着这个时节蜿蜒穿过市区的河岸信步而行，斑斓秋色，尽收眼底，令人陶醉。
