The World Health Organization estimates about 18 million people around the globe suffer from Alzheimer's Disease, a degenerative disease in which brain cells whither away and die. Wednesday May 14 in Washington, former Supreme¹ Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor told the Senate Special Committee on Aging more can, and must be done for victims of the disease and those caring for them.
