虽然是为孩子准确的,但成年人也很有必要重温这个,对你的英语力有很大的帮助。
(Declaration:- This article is written for the group of students who aspires1 to become great English users only. So please do not criticize me for my harshness towards English students.)
Here are a few things that I would classify as bad behavior:-
1) Most students never ever attempt to find out some basic information of the person they are trying to talk to first. This is when they buzz an online teacher in OP (OralPractice.com) site, or when they add themselves to another individual through QQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, UC and you name it. They will start asking silly questions once the chatbox is available. a) Where are you? b) Are you foreigner? c) Are you Chinese? If you respond to them, they may come back and say that you lie. Ridiculous to the highest degree.
2) They ask repeatedly the non-sense questions like a) Which is the best method to learn English quickly? b) Which book or course is the best? c) Which training center is the best? d) Which teacher is the best? and so on.
3) They are scared whenever a website is written all in English. They just back away without further ado.
4) They never ever make an endeavor to use the internet search engine to find something they need to know. Just open their mouth and ask.
5) Bad mannerism2 like buzzing (requesting a voice chat) someone without first sending off text messages to seek permission prior to the voice call. Being new anywhere is no excuse for this kind of bad manner.
I said a lot even before I have started with my topic proper. There is a reason for this. This sounds like grandpa nagging3 all the time, however this is what you folks are after - being able to say something quickly again and again without any preparation or drafting (done in Chinese in the brain), then translated into English, and uttered through the mouth at stammering4 speed.
Last night, I was checking out some English teaching resources for kids. I am working on a thorough approach to start kids playing and using English. I then did my search under forums5 of the soso.com site for PHONICS. Because I know phonics is a much better way to the English sound, especially when it comes to American English.
The discovery. I found a lot of great blogs maintained by mainland Chinese here in China, and inside some of these blogs, you can find ready information on where to look for great resources for kids to learn phonics and other areas of English language learning.
Now, I urge you to do this search yourself. Don't expect me to list everything here for you again. This time the found blogs are maintained mainly in Chinese. However, you may be pointed6 to a lot of English language sites. You have to be daring enough to jump into those sites and look around. You are an adult. You are in a better position to identify what's good for to use to help your kids with their English learning.
There is one particular site that I must mention here though:- http://blog.163.com/mark_jadeclass/blog/static/137171386201002835845196/
